Today the staircase to the upper floor was completed. The staircase looks great. May I ask how much it cost? We had an appointment with the carpenter on site yesterday; our concrete staircase will also have a wooden cladding, but with oak risers and treads plus a glass railing. I’m already a bit worried about the price.

You’ll easily hit over €5,000 (plus the concrete staircase from the shell builder).

We also have two quarter-turn staircases. But according to the carpenter, the glass doesn't necessarily have to be more expensive.

I'm already worried about the price. We paid 9.5k for the basement and upper floor staircase. Oak would have been more expensive. But to be honest, we like beech better anyway, so we had an advantage there. The risers are also made of solid beech, painted white. The treads are beech parquet glued and oiled.

The first three days of the house installation are done, and... a house has appeared! The roofs are covered, and a few smaller tasks will be completed this week before starting with the utility connections, water installation, and electrical work next week. The garage foundation slab is also planned to arrive next week.
