ᐅ Frosted Glass or Etched Glass?

We don’t want clear glass for the small guest toilet window or the stairwell window that is over 3m (10 feet) long. The neighbors are very close.
What would be more advisable in this case and why?
Frosted glass or satin-finished glass? Which looks more high-quality?

And can you get a window over 3m (10 feet) long as a single piece, or is it usually divided into two sections?

A quick Google search. Frosted glass is roughened, while milk glass is colored. I only thought of smooth because, in our case, it is the inner layer of three panes.

I believe so. However, this only applies to the cutout in the front door and the adjacent side panel. In the bathroom, we will apply a film.

You can achieve both effects with a window film, which gives you more flexibility. I would only want privacy from the outside, but without creating a prison-yard feeling from the inside. So I would suggest applying stripes, for example 20 cm (8 inches) of film – 10 cm (4 inches) clear – 20 cm (8 inches) of film, alternating between frosted film and satin finish film. A retail or automotive sign maker can do this for you at a reasonable cost.

This cannot be compared, because my suggestion, implemented as a satin finish on the glass, is only available as a special custom request, whereas the display sticker offers something similar at about the price of a standard full satin finish.
