Do you actually still use a bathtub?Almost every day.
We had planned for a bathtub because it also adds some resale value for us. Until our child was born, it was only used occasionally, but since then 2 to 3 times a week. I have grown to like it and now feel a bit sorry that we didn’t plan for a larger bathtub. However, we wouldn’t have had the space for that anyway.
I definitely wouldn’t build without one.
I definitely wouldn’t build without one.

A townhouse would have been a sin here... Which, in my opinion, it always is...
At least in rural building areas.
Bathtub: we have an extra-large one, Bette Free 2x1m (6.6x3.3 ft) – and I love it. I can even float in it. For the first time in my life, I’m sitting in a tub with both my knees and chest underwater – at the same time. Wonderful! Without my bath pillow, it would be uncomfortable though. But I have one that attaches magnetically to the tub, so I can rest my head on it and keep the rest of my body in the water. Pure wellness!
By the way: after yesterday’s discussion about kitchens and cluttered countertops, I tried again to insist on my much-loved magnetic knife strip.
And lo and behold: yesterday I finally succeeded!!!
Now the two knife blocks are finally gone, and there’s plenty of space again to the left of the stove!
And the husband is convinced now too (it only took him 1.5 years – so basically nothing!).

For me, my backside sticks after just a few seconds, so I don’t slide anymore :p But if you don’t like that sticking exactly and move back and forth a bit, it does make a difference whether you also slide all the way forward and have to push yourself back again or not. ;-)

And my husband is now convinced too (it only took 1.5 years – practically nothing!) Yes, this useful feature of the forum is, in my opinion, also underestimated. I also often say, "Yes, but you know, on the forum they say that ...". ;-)
