Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Here are two pictures of the house from me as well. Occupied since June 2014.

... and some details about the house from me:
Exterior dimensions: 11.10 x 11.10 m (36.4 x 36.4 ft)
Two full stories plus a finished attic (knee wall 1 m (3.3 ft)) / no basement, but two basement replacement rooms in the attic
The house meets KFW standards
No garage – due to the house orientation, the development plan did not allow a garage anymore; we actually only wanted a carport anyway (no clutter garage, for that we have an additional paved area plus a large garden shed with over 12 sqm (129 sq ft) of storage space)
Footprint approx. 300 sqm (3,230 sq ft) = calculated living area approx. 250 sqm (2,690 sq ft) (= approx. 1,000 cbm (35,300 cu ft) of enclosed space)
Occupied by two adults, three children, and a dog
Plot size 830 sqm (8,930 sq ft) (land value now EUR 240 per sqm)
High-quality fittings (children’s bathroom, master bathroom, guest bathroom, oak floorboards in all living areas, partial home automation, geothermal heating, controlled residential ventilation, over 70 sqm (750 sq ft) of window area, tunnel fireplace as a room divider, 75 sqm (810 sq ft) wooden terrace, etc.) – only the pool is still missing, which we didn’t quite finish (4 m (13 ft) diameter + wooden terrace and raised bed towards the neighbors (7 m x 1.10 m x 1.10 m (23 ft x 3.6 ft x 3.6 ft)))
Price for everything: actually way too much

Wooden house with glass front, terrace with red loungers, green garden, and a blue slide.

Modern wooden house with dormer windows, red car in the driveway, green lawn, and neighboring houses.

Our new build includes a granny flat; we’ll add a double garage on the left. Unfortunately, this is just a photo taken with a phone.

Nice houses already included. But this shows how differently buildings can be constructed. Even if floor plans may seem similar, the facade design can create a completely different impression.
I like it. Keep it up.

@tomtom79: Was the house built using prefabricated elements, or where does this edge between the ground floor and the upper floor come from?

I also find it interesting how differently houses are constructed.
