We are looking for a solid wood dining table about 240cm (95 inches) long to comfortably seat 10 people.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

We are thinking of oak for the color. We really like an X-shaped black frame for the base.

If possible, I also prefer having this done locally. It is often hardly more expensive and sometimes of higher quality or more customized.

But 240 cm (94 inches) for 10 people? If you have the space, I would go for 260 to 300 cm (102 to 118 inches). That will be truly comfortable.
