Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

I have a few pictures to share with you. Although we have never really discussed floor plans or similar topics here, I didn’t want to withhold this Frisian house from you.

Illuminated red brick house with stone wall in front of the entrance, evening sky.

Brick house under construction with solar panels, construction site, crane in the background.

Brick house with steep gable in winter, snow-covered roof and surroundings, white entrance doors.

Paved construction area with wooden carport, circular saw on the left, blue box in the middle.

White car parked under the carport next to the house; snow and mud on the driveway, construction crane in the background.

Oh nice! Very pretty. I really like the arched window. Was it expensive?

It was included in our Frisian house package.
I would have to check the detailed price list to see how much the window cost us.

Our place is starting to look livable. The inspection is on 9.2

What kind of toilet is that, meaning the brand/model?

Dear friends of house building,

After the ground floor slab was poured yesterday, the upper floor has already made significant progress today.

Best regards

Axel

Construction site: Multi-story concrete building with scaffolding, worker on top, red tiled roofs in the background.

Well, it does look huge in the picture. Surely the basement adds to that impression. So, what’s it going to be? It’s hard to contain the excitement! At least share some basic details: roof style, total square meters (square feet), heating system, flooring, number of bathrooms and rooms—things like that.
