Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

I think seamless joints are really great! I want to have them in my next bathroom too.

Wow, how did you handle the lighting for the glass balustrade? I’m always interested in something like that and can definitely see it working well in our place too.

Simply placed the LED strip into the profile and then put the glass on top. I thought I’d just give it a try (it had to work just like with the illuminated glass shelves in cabinets). And if you do it yourself, it doesn’t cost anything if it doesn’t work out (the LED strip is almost free).

What size were the tiles originally?
It has something to do with the lighting!

now some pictures from me as well

Very nice. They look like the design shown in https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/mal-wieder-ein-Grundriss.15516/ was implemented without major changes, right?

By the way, where can you find a tile manufacturer who is confident enough to create such “single-piece” walls?

It's best to ask the tile showroom. They should know which tile installer has laid these tiles or at least who has been trained by the manufacturer.
