Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

The joints on the floor in the third row from the window forward don’t seem to match the others, or is that intentional?
But it could also be that it’s on purpose.
Bathroom construction site: dark wall tiles, light floor tiles; red lines indicate missing joint.

Ah... no, that’s a "random bond," meaning the bricks are laid arbitrarily. Actually, it’s almost too consistent for that, which gives the impression it was intentional rather than poorly done.

Okay. It just looks very uniform, and then suddenly there is a shift.

But aside from that, the tiles are nice.
The combination might be a bit "unusual" without any furnishings, but it’s something different.

Let’s say it was supposed to be one - unfortunately inconsistent; ... and it’s a good example showing that irregular patterns are less suitable for large formats.

It’s not a disaster, but the tiler was really quite incompetent. You get used to it like almost everything, but it is definitely noticeable.

By the way, I also like the blue. I would just be worried about getting tired of it. We had initially considered something bold like that as well, but then changed our minds.
