Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Very cute... I can only respond with DIY:

Model of a modern house with a dark pitched roof and large windows.

Model of a house floor plan from above: rooms, staircase, wooden floor, and windows.

Some friends of ours received a house model inside a snow globe from their architect for Christmas... also nice ;-)

The architect’s CAD design should be relatively easy to convert into a model using a 3D printer. Wasn’t there such an offer available at some point?

Ours did it just for fun and printed the shell structure (his trade) in 3D.

I finally finished our wooden deck including the frame and fence, and oiled it twice yesterday.
Unfortunately, it took longer than expected 🙄.
Next time, I will probably use clear oil.

@AMNE3IA
May I ask what kind of facing brick that is? 😎

We have it like this and find it visually very nice this way.

By the way, there are no brick facades at all in this entire area, it’s like wallpaper here: simply no one does it.
Is the "main plaster" a float finish? If so, how many millimeters?

Nice terrace roof! Which manufacturer is it, or where was it purchased?
