Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Cookies, open the image with Paint, select the thick brush, and blackout any data that should not be shared.

This is how our craftsmen always get their executioner look.

I think it’s more about the metadata in the photo. iPhones and similar devices automatically store GPS coordinates there by default.

The chandelier is truly beautiful!

We have a foundation slab, and I would like to post pictures, but of course I’m not keen on sharing the coordinates. Are they automatically removed when uploading, or do I need to delete them on my computer beforehand?

An easier way is: right-click the file, go to Properties, then the Details tab, and choose “Remove Properties and Personal Information.”

On an iPhone, I believe you need third-party apps that can delete EXIF data.

Yes, I didn’t want to cut corners there. Lighting can do a lot – but it can also cause a lot of damage. That was important to me.

My husband didn’t think the chandelier in the gallery was that important at first, but I really wanted it and now I’m really glad I stood my ground. And he likes it a lot now too.

It might mean that our outdoor landscaping will have to wait a bit longer – but oh well...

I can only say wow!!! Great house and beautiful interior so far. Even though it's not really my style. Congratulations.

On iPhones, I think this only works with additional apps that can delete the EXIF data.
There’s the app Koredoko for that... open the photo there, tap the blue "i", then tap the top-right icon (next to Details) --> share without Metadata

That way the coordinates are removed.
