Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

What material are the panels at the bottom of the stairs made of?

Hello,

The courtyard is paved with large-format concrete slabs.

I’d like to try reviving this originally great thread
“SHOW US YOUR HOUSE PICTURES”
and encourage everyone here to share images of their own situations, so that members can better visualize the context, make more accurate assessments, and give helpful advice.

This fantastic thread has never really been about who has what, but rather the idea that a picture is worth a thousand words. If needed, I’m happy to share (and hopefully others will too) photos of things I messed up or decisions that didn’t turn out so well.

Here is my picture for today with the question: “Could this already be the first signs of spring awakening?”

I’ll help revive the thread.

Probably built around 1930, no plans or documentation available, surprises are common during interior work. Nothing is standardized, no standard dimensions, everything is more expensive than with “standard houses” – nevertheless, we love our little house with all our hearts...

I found two more pictures of a part of the garden so you can get an impression of it as well.
The windows there are currently being adapted in the same style as the one shown in the picture from the previous post (casement windows with a tilt window above).

You can tell (in my opinion) that the house is inhabited by people who feel comfortable at home (and want to feel comfortable there wollen).
