Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Apart from one or two minor changes in the window layout, yes, it is the same.

Unfortunately, I discovered this topic a bit too late. We have just finished building and have now been living in our new home for 4 weeks. Here is a brief summary. Of course, more work has already been done both inside and outside.

Best regards

Large empty room under renovation with boxes, furniture, and cleaning supplies.

Two white houses with dark tiled roofs; woman in front of entrance 9a, silver car on the right.

Modern bathroom with bathtub on the left, toilet and bidet on the right, gray tiles.

Double sink with two faucets in front of gray tiled wall; visible plumbing underneath.

Wooden roof structure over shell construction with crane and scaffolding; green fields in the background

Shell construction of a residential house with scaffolding, surrounding neighboring houses and unpaved front yard area

Empty attic room with wooden floor, window with blinds, and ceiling track lighting

Consider yourself lucky... we would have advised against the floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor and the internal door to the garage. Others might have suggested a two-story house.
No, everything is fine... I think the wall tiles in the bathroom look very stylish.

We built again, smile. Since the lawn mower, according to my wife, should no longer be kept in the garage because it always leaves a mess and the dirt looks bad on her patio pavers, I had to put up this metal shed, which isn’t so bad after all. Biohort Europe....

Brown garden shed in front of the house; lawn, shrubs, and a yellow soccer ball on the grass.

No worries... I actually think the wall tiles in the bathroom look very stylish

I will probably regret asking, but what are the drawbacks of the door to the garage?

I have already experienced the disadvantages of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
