Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

We have a utility room that is almost identical, except we use a heat pump instead of gas. Your countertop is probably about 2m (6.5 feet) long. Did you have it custom made by a carpenter, or did you buy it from a place like Ikea, for example?

This is a kitchen countertop from Hagebau. It is completely sufficient for us in the utility room.

House construction 2.0 is entering its final phase.

White playhouse on stilts with a blue slide in the garden at sunset.

After a thousand curses. Sliding off and accidentally cutting your finger. Often being close to taking the Husky chainsaw out of the cupboard to turn it into firewood. Wondering how to measure 46.25 mm (1.82 inches) and questioning if this can be serious. In the end, it actually turned out fairly attractive.

After swearing a thousand times, slipping and accidentally cutting your finger. Often being close to taking the Husky chainsaw out of the cupboard to turn it into firewood. Wondering how to accurately measure 46.25 mm (1.82 inches) and questioning if this was really a serious design. Now it has actually turned out quite nice.

Great! I always loved things like this as a kid and was always jealous when someone had something like it. The only downside is that such things are usually only used for a limited time—unless more children come at certain intervals...

We also had a climbing-slide-swing set in the garden. Our daughter once saw a spider on it... that was it, she never climbed on it or used the slide again.

Best regards,
