@ Kalter.Kaffee: Great! I like the windows and the colors. Could you show us the view into the valley? It must be amazing @superzapp Today I was there in rainy weather to fulfill your request.1. View from just below the house looking toward the valley
2. From much higher up at the forest edge looking toward the valley
@Kalter.Kaffee: Very nice house. We will also soon build a Scandinavian-style house with the same foundation slab company. The assembly date is in 6-8 weeks. Could you possibly share the color of the house? We had to choose the color two weeks ago and also went with a medium gray.

knalltüte15 Jun 2020 20:54Hello, thanks for the beautiful pictures. I have already shared my opinion about your wonderful Swedish-style house.
By the way, my opinion is based on a multi-week motorcycle tour I took through Norway and Sweden nearly 30 years ago. During that trip, I was invited to stay for a few nights in one of those lovely Swedish houses (I had a breakdown at the time; the house I stayed in was, if I remember correctly, either red/white or blue/white). I still fondly remember, first, the great hospitality and, second, the cozy atmosphere the house had back then. Wooden plank floors, a wood-burning stove, and of course a large plot of land, almost park-like, were all part of it.
Well, it’s clear once again that people live on memories. Thanks for that.

Here is some new progress from our side as well. It’s taking a while because the mansard roof is quite complex to cover and insulate due to its geometry, but everything is gradually taking shape. Today, the last remaining window in the house was installed—the only dormer window—and the tiles for the corners of the mansard roof are being cut to size.

The gray color is NCS S3502-Y.
Gori 99 wood facade paint was used.
Where are you building and with which house manufacturer?
