Hello

we have a newly built semi-detached house.

We still need your ideas and suggestions for our bathroom.

For the shower, we can have a solid, tiled partition wall built up to the ceiling between the shower and the toilet directly by the builder (1450€). Then we would only install a door at the front.

Alternatively, we could install or have a glass partition wall added later between the toilet and the shower.

What would you recommend for this bathroom layout?

Could there be a lighting issue in the shower with the solid wall? Should we possibly plan a ceiling spotlight in the shower?

How would you design this in our bathroom?

The wall width is 2.5m (8.2 feet)

The wall would be 10cm (4 inches) thick plus tiles on both sides

The builder only works up to the ceiling or not at all
The other wall. Bathtub: 1.80m (5.9 feet)? Toilet: 0.90m (3 feet)? Shower: 0.90m (3 feet)? So total length 3.60m (11.8 feet)?

Bathtub 1.70 m (5 ft 7 in), the rest is correct

The wall becomes too thick and bulky with tiles.
Overall, there is not much space there.
What about a 2/3 legged bathtub? Then you would have an asymmetry of 160cm (63 inches) and more space on the toilet side. You can still easily reach the toilet paper on the bathtub 😉

Regarding the glass partition, I wonder where I would hang, for example, the toilet paper holder? For a solid wall, I would drill holes into the joint.

You can drill into glass as well... 😉 A holder on the glass (partition) wall would definitely be a striking feature!

Are you all in favor of the glass wall or the half-height solid wall (which unfortunately isn’t possible :/)?

I have a probably silly question:

Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to post links.

There is the Alexa Style 2.0 Atelier 1 wall and the Alexa Style 2.0 Atelier 1 door from Schulte, both with black stripes in the glass.

Can I combine these two — wall plus door? Or is the door designed for a niche with two solid walls?

Sorry, I just couldn’t figure out if that’s possible ://
