Hello

we have a newly built semi-detached house.

We still need your ideas and suggestions for our bathroom.

For the shower, we can have a solid, tiled partition wall built up to the ceiling between the shower and the toilet directly by the builder (1450€). Then we would only install a door at the front.

Alternatively, we could install or have a glass partition wall added later between the toilet and the shower.

What would you recommend for this bathroom layout?

Could there be a lighting issue in the shower with the solid wall? Should we possibly plan a ceiling spotlight in the shower?

How would you design this in our bathroom?

How large should the shower/shower tray be? In other words, how much space is there between the wall and the door?

The shower will be 90x90cm (35x35 inches).

Unfortunately, we cannot move the bathtub.

Is that really the available space between the wall and the door? 😉

Regarding the glass partition, I wonder where to hang, for example, the toilet paper holder? With a solid wall, I would drill holes into the joint.
There are some that you can place on the floor.

I would also choose a glass wall; everything else would feel too cramped and dark to me.

Don’t hesitate to ask for details 🙂 How long is the entire wall?
How thick would the wall be? 8 cm (3 inches)? 10 cm (4 inches)? Why wouldn’t a half-height wall work? You’d have storage space in the shower and a solid wall for the toilet paper holder, while still allowing light through.

The width of the wall is 2.5m (8 feet 2 inches).

The wall would be 10cm (4 inches) thick plus tiles on both sides.

The developer only works up to the ceiling or not at all.
