Hello,
now that my outdoor kitchen is finished, I want to start the next project.
I plan to build a wall (with a door) between the garage and the house wall. The wall will be about 2.50m (8 feet) wide and 2.70m (9 feet) high. A door matching the pattern and color of our sectional door from Hörmann will be installed.
Do I need to consider anything to ensure the wall remains stable and doesn’t simply “fall over”? I think that’s unlikely to happen easily.
Can I use standard calcium silicate bricks, and how thick should they be at a minimum?
Yesterday, I poured a frost-resistant strip foundation with reinforcement steel at a depth of 90cm (3 feet).

The attached picture is over a year old, I don’t have a more recent one at the moment.

Thanks in advance for your messages and best regards

Where exactly is the wall supposed to be, and what is its purpose? Sand-lime brick is definitely a suitable building material. I would like to help but don’t fully understand the task.

I believe the original poster wants to build a wall between the house and the garage, including a door as a passage.

...and wants to know how to properly secure the wall to the house and garage or to the foundation, so that it does not topple over when leaned against...

You need to ensure that the bricks are connected to the existing wall.
