OaklandHello everyone!
We have purchased a triangular plot of land. As if that weren’t complicated enough, there is also a large oak tree that must be considered during the planning. In our initial considerations, it quickly became clear that the floor plan will have an L-shape.
Does anyone here have experience with this type of plot and a correspondingly shaped floor plan? What additional information is needed to get meaningful advice?
Best regards

We have a very long street called Querweg. Since this street runs perpendicular to the others, the plots of land there are mostly triangular to pentagonal in shape.
The houses are almost all standard rectangular designs. And you know why? Because the plots are large enough to place the garden in the narrow tip.
That means: please show the site plan with measurements and other details like orientation, oak tree, etc., so more can be said.

What additional information is needed here to get effective help? Sometimes I feel that some new posters only focus on their own question and haven’t taken the "trouble" to click through a dozen other threads to familiarize themselves with the basic background information we usually need here to make an informed assessment.

I think that very often. Many questions wouldn’t even need to be asked.
