Josefine, in our residential area there are also some houses that have been without plaster for years. Is that common practice? What are your plans?
Our plastering was scheduled for June, but it couldn't be applied because the structural builder was delayed with the waterproofing. So, we are actually running late.
Mulleein, I think your tiles look pretty cool. White furniture would match well, in my opinion. What are you planning for that?

It will be reassembled as much as possible ... and where will it go then – as a triumphal arch in the garden?

haydee, oh, what a pity. I hope the assembly works out.
Stairs covered with natural stone feel more like a public staircase to me; I wouldn’t want that in a living area, even though it looks nice.
I don’t like wood-look tiles either, but if someone does, that’s fine. It’s good that such options are now available.
Having tiles throughout an entire floor would also be a nightmare for me. However, many people do have tiled living rooms, and with underfloor heating, it’s not cold on the feet, but somehow it still doesn’t feel cozy...
But those are just MY opinions, and no one has to share them.
