Well, I had to physically check several wood-look tiles to see whether they were parquet or tiles. We are planning something like that for the bathroom – do you perhaps have a tip on which ones looked convincing?

Can someone explain what the purpose of having two heating circuits is? We have individual room control, so you could keep the bathroom heating running all the time and switch off the rest where there is hardwood flooring… Something like that. We were recommended to have two heating circuits.
We will make the final decision when planning the heating system.
For now, the concrete slab needs to be poured first.
But thanks for the tip; noted!

I also really like wooden floors, but I didn’t want to have to replace the floor after 10–15 years because of the underfloor heating. It’s undeniable that wood expands and contracts due to heating processes causing moisture to evaporate. Tiles can also feel warm and subtle. They go very well with wooden furniture and a wooden staircase. In the summer, the tiles can even feel a bit cool, which I find has a refreshing effect.

Two separate heating circuits for the bathroom and the rest of the house make much more sense!
With individual room control, you are constantly driving with the handbrake on, especially when heating with a heat pump. A heat pump with a good hydraulic balancing and properly adjusted settings doesn’t need individual room control and runs year-round (including the transitional months) at the optimal performance point, taking care of the rest automatically...
If you then have the luxury of two separate heating circuits, you can run the bathroom with a slightly higher supply temperature... or even provide some heating in summer occasionally, depending on the weather conditions.
