Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Yes, I just took a picture of it, as best as I could. The gap size has suffered a bit because the kids like to hang on the drawers and doors when opening them. But after all, it is their cabinet... After two years, that's acceptable.

The top cabinets are used for storage, for example, seasonal clothing. All other doors and drawers have been accessible to our children since they were little.

White, narrow hallway with white built-in cabinets on the left and a door at the end.

It looks amazing!
Flush doors are also great!

Thank you for the feedback. The hallway is very white, but the children's rooms behind it are much more colorful... Because of the flush-mounted doors, we didn’t want any other wardrobe than this design with a flush finish. Originally, we had considered having the doors coated in a colorful harlequin style for the kids. However, that would have cost around 3,000 EUR, and we didn’t think it was worth the expense. For now, they will stay white... Maybe we’ll paint them ourselves when the children are older and can help.

May I ask if the cabinet was a custom piece made by a carpenter? It really looks quite harmonious, despite being white on white.

We did inquire with carpenters, but the quote was in the five-figure range......... It's an IKEA hack ;-)

Thank you 🙂
Could you please describe what components it is made of?
