Solution: I managed to convince my wife at several points to choose floor-to-ceiling patio doors. They are not decorated in front with the argument that you should be able to get out. Then there are four fixed-pane windows – also without this problem – and the other four windows I can tolerate well. You don’t have to understand everything to get along... 😉

That’s why I prefer a more "butchery-like" style in living areas and on doors and windows. I like empty compartments in cabinets or partially filled shelves.
