While not this, in our house there is a kind of unexplainable magic that clothes from the laundry basket get washed and neatly folded, then reappear in my wardrobe. I am very grateful for that. Luckily, I don’t have to do it myself.
Or maybe combined with a friendly invitation from the magician for a glass of wine?

Hello,
Our neighbors have three boys (real little rascals…) and the two older ones first tested if the youngest could fit through. Result: he fit! 🙂
On another note, how do you make a shaft soundproof? In our utility room, the heating system, ventilation unit, and what feels like the washer and dryer running three times a day are noisy. I definitely wouldn’t want that noise to carry up to the upper floor...
Best regards,
AndreasNo problem at all if done correctly. Definitely build it with masonry and then install with a PVC sewer pipe. Proper insulation in between is essential. Also, there must be covers at both the top and bottom. The bottom cover should have a spring or weight mechanism so it closes automatically.Such a setup costs about 500 euros in materials if you do it yourself. If you hire someone, expect roughly 2,500 to 4,000 euros.

My wife decorated the stairwell (wondering if we can add more decoration around the window): Schimi1791 schrieb:
And outside the house, a hint of spring is growing: How funny it is that everyone interprets decoration and spring differently (although I also tend to keep spring decor quite minimal 😉 )

I’ll provide not only the budget but also a (of course full) bottle of red wine that’s hidden in one of my threads.
