Hello forum,
We are currently renovating our old house step by step. As part of this, we are replacing our lamps and lighting fixtures, but instead of buying them from a specialist retailer or electrician, we purchase them online because we want to save energy and money! I’m not very knowledgeable about electrical engineering and would like to ask here how I can calculate or estimate my savings over the course of a year.

Regards, Manni and Ute

The answer might come a bit late for you, but it could still help others. You need a simple calculation tool to estimate the savings potential of your household 😉

LED lamps are still too expensive, and their brightness is not sufficient. Maybe this will change someday in the future.

You’re not up to date anymore. Nowadays, LED lamps are much more worthwhile than energy-saving bulbs: Although the initial costs are higher, they last much longer and consume less energy.
