Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Probably because Miele has better quality than Neff...?

How is the quality noticeable?

I am still unsure about this myself.

I have it ingrained that Miele is the ultimate standard.

Hi, did you also choose a Miele entry-level oven instead of a luxury Neff oven at the same price?

Yes, we did.

It’s always nice to hear positive feedback about the oven!

We would have liked to get more from Miele, including a new washing machine and dryer, but at some point, you have to stop… unfortunately…

For us, the rule is: if Miele is available, then choose Miele.

Whether that might be outdated… maybe…

I’d rather choose a mid-range model with all the features and a good reputation than a stripped-down model from the premium segment at the same price. Similar to choosing a car.

I’ve actually owned Miele appliances myself (washer and dryer): they did exactly the same as the Bosch machines do now. The Miele appliances were replaced because the controls and features were over 20 years old. For me, this is the reason to replace appliances every 10 to 15 years rather than struggling with very old equipment for a long time.

Yes, Miele is lagging behind.
The operation feels 90 years old.

No, Miele is not behind.
It's the phenomenon of increasing technology. People want to replace it. And then Miele no longer makes sense financially. Even if it lasts for 30 years.
