Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Hopefully, it will work out with ours. They will be 2 and 3 years old when they are allowed outside for the first time.

Today, the foundation slab is being poured, and on Thursday evening, the first row of Ytong blocks will already be laid.

I have outdoor cats that are very independent. They simply walked back again. Now I know how far their territory extends to the south.

Ours are also hardcore outdoor cats, but they have a rather limited territory, fortunately in exactly the opposite direction from where we are moving. So, they definitely haven't been to the area where we’re going to live. Still, I’m facing the move with some apprehension. Until now, they had free access to fields without traffic at the back of the house. Now, we’re moving into a residential neighborhood without the possibility for them to simply go out into “nature.”

But I hope we can convince them to stay with us. We’re bribing them with tasty food and a new scratching post with two hammocks.

Similar to our experience. I didn’t think so either. However, since they disappeared from my place at 7 a.m. and were asking for a second breakfast at my parents’ house by 10 a.m., they must have moved quite quickly. I suspect they took a route through various gardens rather than along the street.

How long had you not let them outside?

Nice plot, I really like it!

Is there a lot of traffic on the railway line? Often it’s the case that there is heavy traffic only at certain times, while it’s quiet overnight and during off-peak hours.

It’s nice that the old path is allowed to remain.

There is a train every hour in each direction. And two freight trains a day.
