Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Most of the vapors from my oven are more moist than greasy. After all, you don’t roast a goose every day.

That’s exactly what I was getting at. I honestly wouldn’t know what could cause greasy fumes in the oven.

(Especially since birds are usually placed on the rotisserie grill anyway.)

Unfortunately, I am currently on a business trip while something major is happening for the first time.

Well, I’m very curious to see when the parts are poured on Saturday and most of the basement is completed.

A few more photos showing how it looked this evening:

@ivenh0: I really like it! What type of roof will the house have?

In our case, the screed will now be heated for 10 days before the tiles are installed.

Oven: it doesn’t really matter, we currently have it like this in our apartment and I have no complaints (installed for 5 years). If the oven’s seal is good, most of the steam escapes directly when opening the door. This way, the oven retains moisture inside instead of continuously releasing it into the surrounding air.

Heating the screed for only 10 days? What kind of approach is that? And from what thickness in cm (inches) do you plan to start tiling?
