Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

At first, I thought that was a base for the washing machine. Why a separate foundation for the heat pump?
I’m curious about that too. I’ve never seen a separate foundation for it. Isn’t it usually just placed later on the finished floor covering, after the screed?

No, here it’s also decoupled from the screed to prevent vibrations from being transmitted. It definitely makes sense.

With us, it is also uncoupled and rests on the subfloor, with rubber mats in between.

Are you now referring to the indoor unit, which is like a refrigerator? What kind of vibrations could there be? In our case, nothing vibrates there at all, you can’t hear it inside because the noise occurs in the outdoor unit, which is located outside.

Looks good. But two questions: Will the precast concrete ceiling remain unfinished? The clearance between the network cabinet and the door looks quite tight to fit a door frame, or is that just an illusion?
The door frame requires 3.5cm (1.4 inches), and I have 5.5cm (2.2 inches) clearance. It should fit.
The ceiling will be skim coated and painted. The painter said it’s no problem for the small area above the cabinet.

Since the underfloor heating is installed before the screed and I didn’t want to pour screed over the entire room in advance, I made the foundation. This way, everything can be installed, the underfloor heating laid, and then everything is already prepared.
