Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Is the precast ceiling going to stay unfinished? The distance from the network cabinet to the door looks quite tight to fit a door frame, or is it just an impression?
Regarding the door frame, I think you might be right. But where do you get the idea of a precast ceiling from?

Where do you assume a precast slab?

From the chamfered joint. Generally, there is no objection if you like the appearance. I am in that group as well.

There will probably be a light well at the basement window.
If it is designed asymmetrically to match the kitchen window, I could imagine that it wouldn’t stand out as much...

There won’t be a light well because the area won’t be backfilled. You can see that from the styrofoam.

This will definitely be a bit out of alignment now. Don’t feel like discussing it. Once flowers start growing there, only my southern neighbor will be able to admire that artwork.

Well, it’s intended to be a “light courtyard.” Light courtyard, light well... in my vocabulary, it’s all mixed up. It will definitely be—hopefully—a nice area to let daylight in and to look somehow attractive.

What is the reason for using different insulation around the basement window?

Yes, the white area will be plastered.

Exactly

The utility room is now plastered and ready to be painted next week. We have also installed the formwork and poured the foundation for the heat pump.

At first, I thought this would be a base for the washing machine. Why is there a separate foundation for the heat pump?
