The tiles look really stylish! Could you share the model?
Why did you decide against using a slab foundation beneath the tiles?

The door itself is actually quite nice and definitely less prone to damage than a white one would be, but the windows are white anyway. Both need cleaning, durability depends on the material, and white was ordered – so I would insist on white as well. No need to worry.

At the time, it wasn’t clear how large the terrace would be, so it was never really a topic. Besides, since the terrace wraps around the entire house—extending to the left and right toward the kitchen and the side entrance—it turned out quite large, which wasn’t originally planned. But I think this will be the cleanest solution for the walking paths.

At first, I really had to laugh that this is happening to us again. The door itself is actually nice and definitely less prone to damage than a white one would be, but the windows are white. I don’t think it can stay like that. What do you think?
The general contractor said that if we swap it out, there might be delays and so on. But I think that’s just a tactic to get us to accept the door as is.Well, we have white windows and an anthracite-colored front door. The door we chose looked cheap in white. I think it fits well with our house.
Both white and dark doors get dirty. At the moment, everything around here looks more like postal yellow because of the pollen dust.
Why would there be a delay? You still have some time until the exterior and interior plastering is done. Just tell them you don’t accept the door first, then maybe negotiate a small discount—if that’s okay with you.

First say you won’t take them and then maybe agree to a small discount. Only if that’s OK for you. For me, a discount would only be appropriate if it’s essentially given away. In this context, it will never be an “accent” but will always simply be a mismatched element.

I probably wouldn’t accept that either, but in the end, you have to decide whether you like the anthracite-colored door or not. If you do like it, you shouldn’t show it right away but first insist on a replacement and listen to what is offered.
If you don’t like it, then I would definitely insist on a replacement. No discount in the world will make up for that. If possible, you could upload a photo so people can see what you are talking about.
