Hello everyone,

Would you place the control switches for the roller shutters directly at each window (as our construction manager suggests) or rather near the room entrance with the other light switches (as we proposed)?

Why windows? Having them centrally located near the light switches makes more sense to me. With the windows, I would have to walk to each one individually to open them in the morning, unlike having a single location near the light switches...

Windows

Hey Andi,
could you give me one more sentence and explain why?

Just think about the situations in which you will use them (for example, early in the morning when you enter the room (--> door) or constantly when sitting next to the couch or the seating area by the window). There are certainly solutions that allow both options...

I would say it depends.

I don't think it looks very nice if there are five or more switches next to or below each other.
Or, as Bastian suggests, find a solution that allows both. That is, a switch by the door that controls all at once, and then separate switches at each window.
