Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

I am not complaining about the price at all. We are very glad that we chose to have construction supervision and are very satisfied with the expert’s work. It is definitely worth it for us—even if nothing were to go wrong during the build. The assurance that a knowledgeable external expert is overseeing everything is worth the cost to us.

Let's continue. Only the incorrectly fitted window has not yet been replaced, and no corrections have been made so far. But that would probably be asking too much on short notice.

I pay 85 euros net per hour. No matter what he does for us (everything related to us, including work outside the construction site). I find a tiered pricing based on square meters quite cheeky.

I find the tiered system fair because more needs to be checked when there is more to inspect. Ours is also steep and every roof tile was thoroughly examined. More roof means more work.

I prefer hourly rates. They reflect the actual effort involved, not just a hypothetical estimate.
