I consider this an investment in quality improvement.

According to the DEKRA price list, the construction supervision would cost us nearly 10,000 euros. Phew.

Why so much? We had an independent expert, and they charge by the hour.

DEKRA scales the prices according to living area, and for our 255m² (2745 sq ft), they charge €855 gross per inspection and €565 for the foundation slab. With 8 to 10 inspections, that adds up quite a bit!

I believe ours is around 700 per appointment. We have 197 sqm (2,119 sq ft) of living space and no basement. I think it's a bit more precisely 4,300 euros.
