Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

The red tomcat tends to shed especially on dark clothing, and the gray tabby on light clothing.

Maybe crossbreeding cats with chameleons would be a good idea.

No foreign species will be introduced into the gene pool of my two purebred Lastramis (local mixed breeds).

Today I went to take some photos – but I didn’t climb the ladder, I was too scared to do it alone. Hopefully, we’ll get scaffolding soon, I don’t mind if it’s outside or inside by the staircase.

In our home (without children), we chose surfaces that are, of course, all easy to clean but don’t necessarily need to be cleaned immediately because dirt doesn’t show on them.
The glass balustrade on our staircase replaces a traditional railing. The latter would only collect dust anyway. I don’t see any disadvantage to the glass balustrade.

What annoys me a bit ... No more carpets ... On smooth floors, dust always shows.

Anyone else have photos? :P

The dining table arrived from the carpenter yesterday.

What is a reasonable price for something like this from a carpenter?

Similar tables in furniture stores are not really of good quality.
