Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

After the glazier installed the mirror wall and the shower partition, the carpenter came by today to fit the wardrobe.
We also accepted the glass panel by the shower, even though we didn’t want something like that at the start of the planning. It’s a good compromise.
Since there are no hinges or similar fittings, the glass panel is very easy to maintain. After showering, you can squeegee it off in 10 seconds, occasionally clean it with a window vacuum cleaner, and that’s it.

White wardrobe with four door panels and three drawers in a bright room; door on the right.

Open wooden wardrobe with clothes rail, top shelf, and three drawers.

Open wooden cabinet with several adjustable shelves, empty.

Modern shower room with glass partition, rain shower head, hand shower, and niche with toiletries.

Modern white kitchen with mirrored fronts, large window overlooking snow outside.

The closet and the shower look incredibly great and have the potential to be copied.

I actually like the mirrored wall opposite the stairs even better.

I have to admit, I never expected the house to turn out this well when I saw the design in your avatar picture a year ago.

Could you also post a picture of the staircase? Everything looks really great.

Hello Matte,

Are those plastic patio doors or wooden ones?

I really like the staircase (at least as much as you can tell from the reflection in the mirror). Did you apply any special protection to the white on the steps? Something like a protective coating? We’re concerned it will get dirty quite quickly. People do occasionally step on it with their feet or house slippers, and sometimes even with outdoor shoes if they just go upstairs quickly to grab something. It will probably get gray or black quite fast.
