Hello,

I would like to install a walk-in shower at floor level. Unfortunately, there is a window right in the middle of the room. The bathroom is only 5m² (54 ft²) in size. Currently, there is a bathtub installed, which I would remove to install the shower. Has anyone done something similar? If so, is it possible to see pictures of how this was solved?

A dimensioned floor plan of the room would be helpful.

For example, my bathroom is also less than 5 sqm (54 sq ft) and is arranged like this:

Badgrundriss: Badezimmerbereich als pink markierter Grundriss mit Abmessungen 4.54 m²

Isometrische Raumansicht: Bett, Badezimmerbereich links, Fenster mit Pflanze.

Kleines Badezimmer mit Glas-Duschkabine in der Ecke

Great, thanks, that’s already helpful.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the documents on hand at the moment. As soon as I get them, I will post them here.

Do you happen to have more pictures of the bathroom? Specifically, where the shower details can be seen more clearly?

Unfortunately, it is very difficult for a layperson to take proper photos in such small bathrooms. This is already the photo where it is easiest to see. The overhead view from my room planning software actually provides a pretty good overview.

I still have the problem that the window is positioned very centrally. Does anyone have an idea of how this could be resolved?

What exactly is the problem? Is the bathtub currently located under the window? How much space is available on the wall where the shower is supposed to go, and how is the bathroom layout arranged?
