Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The legs can simply be made by a skilled metalworker according to the specifications – the result is likely to be better than if someone quickly tries to pick up some welding skills. After that, nothing stands in the way of the self-built table.

You can easily find the legs on Amazon or eBay. On the latter, you can even find fairly attractive and customizable options. We actually built the same table ourselves, even without experience in woodworking or metalworking. For this, you only need a solid wood panel made by a carpenter in your desired thickness and dimensions, plus the legs, which you can connect very securely using threaded inserts and bolts. This way, the table can also be disassembled without damage.

… and don’t forget the battens placed crosswise under the panel (to prevent warping in the wood).

@Climbee: Nowadays, the joints in the wood can be nicely and effectively filled with epoxy resin.

@Climbee looks great and I understand the ordering situation. My husband already asked if I would be invited to the Christmas party at Connox since I have played a significant role in sales over the past two years. We have Forest chairs for the terrace. I love them!

In the outdoor area, we will gradually replace our teak chairs with the Forest chairs. This also has the advantage that they can be quickly brought inside when more than eight people are sitting around the table.

Am I the only one who notices the first signs of a stroke when seeing a price of 400€ for a stacking chair?
