Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

We don’t need to discuss Winnetou’s contract here. If there are building authorities in northeast Brandenburg that approve this, they probably can because they are not as overloaded as in other areas. Here in Schleswig-Holstein, it’s no longer possible, and certainly not in Hesse either.
Does anyone have another photo?

Otherwise, here is our entrance area. Steffen, what do you think of it? Karsten

Anything under 7 months is negligent.
Additives to make, for example, screed dry faster cost unnecessary money and should be avoided.
What’s the use if the builder rushes everything? That guarantees shoddy workmanship.
There are clients who refuse the 3-month option from Viebrockhaus and intentionally choose a longer construction period.

It worked out within that timeframe for us (including the basement). We only used fast-setting screed in the boiler room. But that’s common, right? Didn’t seem like shoddy work to me. Just well organized without long waiting times.

Today I finally had time to start working on the workshop in the basement. I immediately reused leftover kitchen countertop material.

Isn’t there a hole at the top in the middle???

Hole in the center, yes. That is the mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery.

I would file a complaint about this controlled residential ventilation system. Water is leaking inside.
Otherwise, nice house, good location.

At 10 a.m., the foundation slab will be poured, and this morning additional reinforcement was installed in the transition area between the foundation slab and the retaining wall.
