Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The screed couldn’t be installed last week, of course, because someone didn’t inform the right person in time.
As a result, all the following trades are delayed by another week. :/

At least today it was finally done. It’s impressive how two people can complete the screed for the entire house in half a day.

On Friday, the HVAC installer will come for the condensate, and the electrician needs to lay another cable. Then next week, interior plastering will begin.

New-build interior: brick wall, installation pipes, smooth floor, large window façade.

You don’t have any interior plaster applied yet, so why is the screed already in place? When we did the interior plaster, it made a huge mess on the floor—how is it supposed to be cleaned off the screed afterward?

Best regards,

First of all, I have to say, you have very beautiful house photos here!

@Curly: I think Matte plans to install the baseboards flush with the plaster!?

Yes, exactly. I already mentioned that a few pages earlier.

I will discuss the dirt issue with the architect, but I imagine the plasterer might lay down a protective sheet during work to prevent the screed from getting too dirty.

It will all work out.
