Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The plasterers have finished for now as of today. There are a few minor damaged spots, and I also checked if everything is level.
One thing I can say for sure is that the walls are really smooth.

Now ventilate thoroughly. A lot of water got in. Smooth is already good, because then it’s ready for wallpapering. Karsten

It's quite impressive how two people can install the screed throughout the entire house in just half a day.
There doesn't seem to be much clearance left at the patio doors for the top flooring. Or is the photo misleading?

This is probably because the doors have a flat threshold. The floor will be covered with 10mm (0.4 inch) fine porcelain tiles.

It should actually fit. At least, I hope so. It would be a problem if we couldn’t open any doors anymore.

@RobsonMKK : Do you have external venetian blinds on the narrow windows in the gallery (first picture) as well? If yes, which manufacturer are they from?

We do not have shutters, only roller shutters.
