The wooden facade looks really stylish! I think I would have chosen the roof overhang not in white, but rather a color matching the windows.
I’m a wood enthusiast anyway; with a good friend whose house I helped build partly, we also used wooden facade elements made of rhombus cladding. For our old house, that wouldn’t work — the front has an old brick facade, and at the back, before my time, insulation with white plaster was added (the facade apparently wasn’t in good condition anymore), so there’s no room for wooden elements.

I also think the wooden house is very nice! We originally considered building a wooden house/Swedish house as well, but in our region there is only one supplier for that, and they are very expensive. We didn’t want to choose one located several hundred kilometers away either. So now our house will be Mediterranean style instead (which is the other style we both like).

I’m not exaggerating.
I have now paid 160 euros net per square meter including the bricks (800 euros for 1000 pieces) and with white joints. It’s strange either the guys at 11 are doing it differently or his calculation doesn’t add up.
Plastering usually costs around 50 euros net and typically takes no longer than a week for a single-family house.

The back side only has smaller windows, so everything is already finished here:

Cool, like a huge sauna
