Yes, we are building with a basement; I already posted some pictures on page 12 of this thread. We were on vacation for almost 14 days, but the guys didn’t stay idle during that time:

On Monday, the ground floor ceiling will be installed and it’s scheduled to be concreted on Tuesday. So we are a full floor ahead...

The weather here hasn’t been as bad as in NRW over the past two weeks. However, the backfilling along with the sewer installation took about a week.

Yes, the architects there are great! However, based on what is heard from acquaintances, some architects make really poor decisions... those few should be ashamed.

Yeah, now I remember... I had a quick look once and stopped immediately. I’ve only seen a troll pit like that in the AutoBild forum before...

Considering how some of them behaved, it’s quite possible they would have wanted to stone me for 45-degree walls—probably because they can’t build them...

Enough of the bashing!
