Hello everyone,
We would like to install a different type of tile on the wall where our washbasin is mounted in our bathroom. Preferably, this should be a full-height installation. (We want to keep tiling on the other walls to a minimum.)
So please share your textured, patterned, or 3D tiles! 🙂

What advice should one give about "Was" now?Hey, have you been in a confrontational mood lately? At least that's how it seems..
I wasn’t asking for a specific recommendation for myself, but rather if those who have such textured, decorative, or 3D tiles could share some pictures, if they like. These are just images, by the way—I included the white tile as an example, but I haven’t seen it in person and therefore don’t know if it actually matches the tile or not.
So where exactly is the problem?

If you are looking for inspiration on Instagram: “Badglück” currently has many examples like this.
We decided against it ourselves; we will just go with plain 60cm x 60cm (24in x 24in) light gray tiles ;-) The photos on Instagram are often so heavily edited that they don’t really reflect reality.
Are you using the same tile for both floors and walls?
Something like this is how I imagined it for our place (also Instagram inspiration). Gray floors and walls, with one wall featuring a white textured tile.

Alessandro12 Nov 2021 08:13Just keep in mind that dust is very noticeable on a white textured tile. Especially in the bathroom, where it is relatively humid, dust tends to settle more prominently into the texture. A mirror with indirect lighting, like in your picture, makes this even more visible.

My husband suspected something like that, and of course, I don’t want to deal with it either!
You have textured tiles in your bathroom, right? Are they all that prone to showing dust?
