Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

@tumaa is the door now blue or gray? My monitor or eyes can’t quite decide. It definitely suits your house well.

By the way, may I ask how much it cost? You probably bought it along with the windows, right?

RAL 7016 is "Anthracite Gray" – depending on sunlight, it can appear more gray or more blue. I appreciate that the powder coating number was specified in the offer. This way, you can order window frames, roller shutters, window sills, and the front door all in exactly the same color. Without the powder coating number, you usually only get "similar to RAL xxxx," which varies slightly between manufacturers or powder coaters. Because of this, the window sill can end up a slightly different shade than the window, even though they are supposed to be the same RAL color.

The door cost 6000 with a lot of bargaining (purchased separately), and the quality seems very good.

Yes, there are different 7016 shades.

Regarding the appearance: it matches the brickwork perfectly. I picked most of it myself, and so far my wife has been happy with my choices.

May I ask for the type of brick used?
How much did it cost per 1,000 pieces?

The door looks amazing!
