Hello everyone,
I have a question about a corner wall cabinet, and I’m sure someone can help me.
More specifically, it’s about the door and the hinges. After assembling everything, I mounted the doors. Normally, this isn’t a problem: you screw the parts into the side panel, attach the hinges to the door, and then hang the door—no issues. What bothers me now is the gap between the door and the side panel, as if the door is sticking out about 0.5cm (0.2 inches), allowing you to see inside. That can’t be the intended design, and from what I’ve seen, it’s not possible to move the hinge further back.
I hope someone can assist me.
Thank you in advance for your effort and support.
Best regards,
Michael

Usually, your problem occurs because the hinges are not properly adjusted.
They have an adjusting screw (Phillips head) that sets the distance between the T-plate (the bracket attached to the cabinet) and the hinge. If this is not set correctly, the door won't close properly as it tends to spring back, so to speak.
Please check this by simply turning the screws a little and see if it improves.

That is correct regarding the adjustment screws.
I tried adjusting both screws, but unfortunately, it still doesn’t work satisfactorily. I can set it so that the gap between the door and the side wall becomes smaller, but this causes the gap between the door and the adjacent cabinet to widen. That looks even worse, since you view it from the front, and the gaps between the doors should be evenly spaced.

I strongly assume that something still needs to be added, like a cover panel or something similar.
With a cover panel of 37cm (15 inches), the gap would be closed, and it would look like on the other side.
What surprises me, though, is that in the planning phase, they do take into account that, for example, with a corner cabinet (120x60cm / 47x24 inches), there must be a spacer of at least 3–4cm (1–1.5 inches) between it and the next cabinet to allow the drawers to open properly.
I checked all the Ikea documents again, but unfortunately, there is nothing available except a cover panel for the base cabinet, which I don’t need. Maybe the planner just confused it, putting it below instead of above. 😕

You can use a 40 cm (16 inch) door from your front as a cover panel.
We did the same and it looks good! (no more gaps)
Best regards

mh hinge – we made sure to use the correct ones. All the "standard" cabinets are the same, while the corner wall cabinet and corner base cabinet (just like the display cabinets) have different hinges.
