ᐅ Looking for a 3x3 meter garden shed with a tall door.

Hello everyone,

I have been searching for days for a garden shed measuring 3x3 meters (10x10 feet) with a door clearance height of 190 cm (75 inches). It has proven to be more difficult than I expected.

• There are very few garden sheds that offer the dimensions I want, 3x3 meters (10x10 feet).
• Hardly any garden sheds have doors with a clearance height of 190 cm (75 inches). Most are only 174 cm (69 inches) or 182 cm (72 inches) tall. Since people are getting taller, I don’t understand why most garden sheds have door heights that low.

Do you know of any garden sheds that meet my requirements? The material doesn’t matter at this point. I had favored steel or aluminum, but wood would also work if necessary.

I had the same dimensions. It’s very hard to find one measuring 3 x 3 meters (10 x 10 feet). I decided on the Highline model from Biohort, size H5. At 190 cm (6 ft 3 in) tall, I can easily fit through the door. It’s made of metal. Assembly with three people took a good 8 hours. It’s a bit more expensive but of good quality.

Interesting that you mention it. We had that in mind as well. However, the description states that the door’s clearance height is 1.82 meters (6 feet). Is that incorrect?

Building it yourself? There are plenty of guides available online, and a 3x3 meter (10x10 feet) structure isn’t that huge. Two friends and one to two weekends.

That is correct at 1.82 m (6 ft), but that measurement is taken from the threshold of the garden shed. In the photo, you can see the threshold. Ours is positioned on the aluminum base frame. Because of this, the height up to the top edge of the door is 1.90 m (6 ft 3 in). I can pass through without any problems. It’s a bit hard to explain. Our local hardware store has several Biohort sheds on display. Maybe you also have one nearby.
