Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Roof panels with sandwich construction. But to me, that would look a bit too "industrial."

Carports are open – you can count the cars to see if Kevin is home alone. Valuable information for burglars, easily spotted while driving by. The police recommend: build with a gate.

I would say there are two types of burglars:

Type 1 = this falls under acquisitive crime; they don’t care whether a vehicle is present or not.

Type 2 = the professional = they wait for the right moment.

I would prefer Type 2.

We have more cars than licensed drivers. So counting is out of the question.

The other way around would be better. That way, you can’t assume someone is present just because a car is gone, but there is always someone moving inside the house.

A suitable neighborhood is probably more important in this case than having a garage or carport.

So, I still need to get a dummy car. Then I'll ask my wife! I wanted a third car anyway.

An alarm system is cheaper than a third car (you don’t have to tell your wife ) ... and the cost of a carport plus alarm system is less than a double garage.

If you ask that way: the most important information is that the respective condition remains stable for days.

So the dummy car would need to drive in and out on its own now and then... phew, this is getting complicated... time for autonomous driving to become everyday life... for burglary protection with carport owners and stuff.

This is definitely a pro autonomous driving argument.
Burglary protection

Let's be honest, who would have taken on K.I.T.T.?
