Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Everything is fine, but please don’t believe the screed will be dry after 2 weeks. Even with additives, that’s not possible in the current weather.
Which type of screed did you have installed, anhydrite or cement?

It’s cement, with an accelerator. It hasn’t fully dried yet, but the indoor humidity is still 40%.

If everything goes according to plan, we’ll move in mid-May. The first excavator arrived on October 2nd.

So, a total of 13 months since we first visited the site.

With enough accelerator, a screed is ready for covering regardless of the weather after a maximum of 3 days. No problem at all, but it does cost!

No response so far. I don’t expect to hear anything more. I ordered the sample tiles from an online store in Malta (t....); the shipping costs weren’t very high (for sample tiles, you can select them using the arrow key). They are expected to arrive tomorrow.

You’re welcome to upload a photo of the sample tiles here or also share the exact name of the online store.

Here is another photo of the floor for you.

I'm liking it more and more. The tiles look completely different here compared to the promotional photos.
