Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

If you ask like that: the most important information is that the particular situation remains constant for several days.

Okay, I agree with you there. But our neighbors, for example, always close ALL their roller shutters completely... that way we always know exactly when they are away. Even if the cars are parked in the garage... so the issue is not just about the location of the cars.

I would prefer type 3 -> Has a conscience and rather leaves it off altogether.

Great, how can it go so fast?
A skilled construction manager and craftsmen on site, whom you have known for many years.
There’s no long back and forth, just getting things done.
Sorry, just saw this now.

The screed is almost dry after 2 weeks.

This is about the terrazzo tiles, right? I find them very appealing as well. @Wintersonne, could you please share what the manufacturer replied to you? Did you contact Roca?
No response so far. I don’t expect to hear anything anymore. I ordered sample tiles from an online shop in Malta (t....); the shipping costs weren’t very high (for sample tiles, you can select them using the arrow key). They are supposed to arrive tomorrow. We are also visiting a large tile center this week to see if we can find something. If we like the Roca tiles, we would have to discuss with the tiler whether we can order them ourselves instead of getting them through him.

That’s all well and good, but please don’t believe that the screed is dry after 2 weeks. Even with additives, this is not possible in the current weather conditions.
Which type of screed did you have installed: anhydrite or cement?

Of course, that is possible. Nowadays, there are accelerators that achieve sufficient hardness for covering after 4-6 days. This has nothing to do with the weather.
