Hello,
we are currently planning our house. We have a building envelope of 9m (29.5 feet) in width and 12m (39.4 feet) in length.
The requirement is to have a parking space at or in the house.
We are considering integrating a garage within the house. This way, we could fully use the 9m (29.5 feet) width for the entire house.
But would this also cause significantly higher costs?
Alternatively, we could plan some space next to the house for a carport or parking space. This area next to the house could also be used as an additional outdoor seating area for a table tennis table, for example. However, this would reduce the living area on the ground floor, making the house narrower.
What do you think? Which option is better?

Does the carport have to be within the building area, or is boundary construction allowed?
I would build the carport next to the house.

Yes, the carport must be within the building envelope (building area).

Carport next to the house. In my opinion, the additional costs for an attached garage are not justified.

Oh, that's a pity. So the house is only 6 m (20 feet) wide from the outside. Quite narrow.
Where are parking spaces allowed?

Parking spaces must be located on the side... At least one
